Rabot Dutilleul Construction

Located in the centre of Boulogne-sur-Mer at the foot of the Nausicaà gardens, this design-build project by Rabot Dutilleul Construction (owner’s authorised representative) has been developed on unstable ground with a steep slope.

The technical challenge for the consortium was to propose a solution to stabilise the cliff while executing an ambitious building programme featuring a public car park with 800 spaces, shopping facilities and 176 multifamily residential social and intermediate housing units with a view over the sea and their 200 parking spaces.

The team was committed to respecting the natural topography of the site and chose to build a high retaining wall to secure the site and bury the 1,000 parking spaces.
