The campus of CentraleSupélec engineering school accommodates 4,200 students in three main buildings.
The 48,000-sq. m. Gustave Eiffel building designed to host the school's support, research and teaching activities was built under a public works contract. The building of the structure and shell of the edifice was allotted to the GCC/Rabot Dutilleul Construction consortium. The Gustave Eiffel building houses the largest auditorium on the campus with a seating capacity of 970 students. It also houses five laboratories fitted with heavy equipment (for physics, mechanics, materials). This Building Information Modelling (BIM) project enabled all the stakeholders to work together thanks to digital modelling. See the video produced by the Alto Ingenierie design office.
