Work-study contracts at Rabot Dutilleul : gaining good initial work experience

Every year, the Rabot Dutilleul Group invites students to join its various departments and subsidiaries under work-study contracts.

Rabot Dutilleul invited the students who have been working under work-study contracts since September 2017 to attend the 7th edition of the "Work-Study Day". This event provides them with an opportunity to meet each other, share their experiences and, above all, discover the diversity of the Group's activities and understand the role of each stakeholder.

This meeting was held on 20th December 2017 at the corporate headquarters in Lille. Around 15 students on work-study contracts from different affiliates of the Rabot Dutilleul Group spent a day together, during which they held feedback sessions with their tutors.

The day also included a paper chase in the centre of Lille, which enabled the participants to discover the projects completed by the Rabot Dutilleul Group in Lille.

This form of work placement enables the Rabot Dutilleul Group to set-up a talent pool of young employees who will capable of succeeding the present generation of staff members. They join experienced teams of workers, who share their know-how, knowledge and soft skills for periods of between one and two years.

At Rabot Dutilleul, this kind of recruitment represents nearly 50 students a year on work-study contracts, i.e. around 3% of the company's total headcount.
