Rabot Dutilleul Construction granted the Geste d'Or award in the "refurbishing and restructuring" category
The 2016 “Geste d'Or” award was given to Rabot Dutilleul Construction for the rehabilitation of Schramm barracks in Arras.
The Golden Gesture prize is awarded in recognition of good practices that feature a sustainable approach to treatment (including the ecological approach), the management of human resources (builders and users) and balanced financial engineering. Its aim is to publicise exemplary construction projects. Rabot Dutilleul Construction was rewarded for having applied these principles to the renovation of the former military barracks in Arras, listed as a Unesco world heritage site.
Rabot Dutilleul Construction rehabilitated 108 homes, ranging from studio flats to four-roomed housing units, as part of a development featuring 6,300 sq. m. of façades, 9,000 sq. m. of flooring and 10,000 window panes.
