Nacarat goes for real estate crowdfunding
As the first nationwide property developer to go for crowdfunding, Nacarat intends to turn it into a profitable but also socially responsible way of investing in real estate.
Crowdfunding is a way of involving the public in the construction of the towns and cities of the future. As it keeps a close eye on changes in market conditions and supports the values promoted by the sharing economy, Nacarat chose to experiment this new type of financing in a Lille project: Le Quai des Canotiers. This was a very symbolic choice because the development is in the Euratechnologies district, a centre of excellence dedicated to new information and communication technologies (NTICs) and a cornerstone of the Lille French Tech hub. To conduct this crowdfunding, Nacarat teamed up with Tributile, a regional crowdfunding platform dedicated to companies which promotes meaningful projects.
