Franck Fessenmayer takes over the regional management of Rabot Dutilleul Construction in the Paris Île de France region
Frank FESSENMAYER has joined Rabot Dutilleul Construction as Regional Manager in charge of the Paris Ile-de-France region. He is responsible for continuing the development of the construction company and for turning it into a key player on the Paris Ile-de-France market.
A graduate of ESTP School for Sustainable Construction and of IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School, Frank Fessenmayer, 55, has spent his entire professional life in the construction sector. He started his career at Bouygues Bâtiment IDF as a Cost Estimation Engineer before becoming Operations Manager in 2002. In 2008, he joined the SCGPM affiliate of the Spie Batignolles Company as Operations Manager in charge of the renovation works division. He then joined Vinci Construction France in 2013 where he held various managerial positions within several subsidiaries of the group.
At Rabot Dutilleul Construction, which he joined in April 2019, Frank Fessenmayer is responsible for continuing the development of the business in the Paris Ile-de-France region, where the company has been a major player for over 30 years. Today, the Paris Ile-de-France region has become the company’s number one “playing field”, after originating in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. It is conducting major projects in the Paris Ile-de-France region, such as the head office of BMW in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and the major demolition and structural refurbishment of a service sector complex in Paris (rue Lafitte) for the benefit of Crédit Agricole Immobilier.
Rabot Dutilleul Construction is also very active in building refurbishment, such as the renovation of the Chinese Consulate in the 8th district of Paris and the improvement of a property on Avenue Trudaine, which will soon notably accommodate the WeWork coworking space in Paris. Finally, Rabot Dutilleul Construction is capable of conducting highly technical projects, such as the new technical facilities in Henri Mondor hospital in Créteil near Paris.
This strong level of activity is likely to be sustained by the construction company’s involvement in numerous competitive bidding procedures, such as the competitions for building the Paris 2024 Olympic Village or for developing Epinay-Sur-Seine as part of the Greater Paris development project.
“We’re delighted to welcome Frank Fessenmayer as Regional Manager of Rabot Dutilleul Construction in the Paris Ile-de-France region. His perfect knowledge of the construction sector and of this geographical area will enable us to speed up our regional development. To support this, we plan to hire 20 people by the end of 2019 for our design offices, work sites and branches in Saint-Denis and Les Ulis,“ says Thierry Geffroy, Managing Director of Rabot Dutilleul Construction.
