Rabot Dutilleul recruits its staff in accordance with principles of non-discrimination and equal pay for men and women. The Rabot Dutilleul Group has adopted the Diversity Charter developed by the Alliances network of socially responsible companies, whose objective is to support companies in improving their performance whilst maintaining a more respectful relationship with people and the environment.
Safety at work is an absolute priority: the Quality Safety and Environment department is in charge of communicating fundamental safety rules to Rabot Dutilleul employees and its suppliers. The booklet that sets out the various Codes reminds workers of what they should do when carrying out their day-to-day tasks. All employees are motivated to act by regular information updates designed to inform all staff of improvements in practices and results.
The Rabot Dutilleul Group is a partner of Lille Métropole's "Second chance at school" scheme, which aims to help young people who left school without any qualifications to enter the workforce. The school was inaugurated on 28 November 2007 in Roubaix and will welcome 80 trainees from January 2008. Some of them will come to work in the company to find out more about the working environment and training in the building trades.
