> Sedaf launches a new programme at Haute Borne - 5 March 2008

At Villeneuve d’Ascq, the property development company is building the new research centre and head office of the Osyris Group.

Designed by architect Gérard Zeller, this 2,500 sq. m. building will accommodate all of the activities of the Osyris Group, which specialises notably in manufacturing laser equipment dedicated to the medical field.

On Wednesday 27 February 2008, a field maple tree was planted at a ceremony to mark the beginning of the works. This event was attended by numerous elected officials from the Lille metropolitan area, including Martine Aubry, Vice-President of the Lille Urban Community and Mayor of Lille, and Jean-Michel Stievenard, Chairman of the SAEM company that operates the Haute Borne science park.

By the end of 2008, the future occupiers of the new premises will benefit from a “customised” working environment, featuring contemporary architecture with, in particular, a flat green (vegetated) roof.

In the same town of Villeneuve d’Ascq, Sedaf is also building the 15,000 sq. m. head office of Auchan, the multiple retailer, under a property development contract (CPI).

The project comprises the construction of 180 homes, 30% of which will be social housing units. Through this project, the Lille Métropole Urban Community also wants to increase the town’s cultural and sports facilities, with the building of a theatre, a multi-purpose hall, a library, an internet resource centre and a youth club.

Within this ZAC, Palm Promotion will also be developing a 2,000 sq. m. space dedicated to retail outlets and service companies.

> RD bud trusts in Katowice - 27 February 2008

RD bud, the Rabot Dutilleul Group’s general contractor, has just opened a sales branch office in Katowice, southern Poland.

Based in Warsaw, in Poland’s heartland, the RD bud company is continuing to expand across the whole of Poland.

Eric Agnello, the Chief Executive Officer, explains that he chose Katowice because of this region’s good economic prospects: “We’re already very active in southern Poland, where there’s a very high-density market. This new branch office will enable us to be closer to our customers and construction sites.”

After increasing its workforce to over 100 employees in 2007 and a few months after celebrating its 10th anniversary, the opening of a local branch office in 2008 shows RD bud’s determination to become a market leader in the construction sector in Poland.

> The Group’s property development business grows in Brittany - 22 November 2007

On 31st October 2007, Palm Promotion acquired 100% of the capital of the FEDI company (Foncière et Développement Ingénierie) based in Lamballle (North Brittany).

FEDI specialises in setting up real estate deals, especially in the residential sector. Thanks to its innovative procedure for systematically finding buildable lands, FEDI is capable dotaining sale agreements and developing the projects up to the building permit stage. At this point, FEDI sells the projects to property developers, whose job is to market and implement them.

By acquiring FEDI, Palm Promotion has taken control of 20 housing programmes in Brittany, a province in which the Group intends to develop its business activity. To implement the deals set up by FEDI, Palm Promotion has opened a branch office in the town of Lamballe. This office will also be developing its own real estate programmes.

> Rabot Dutilleul: Go East! - 7 November 2007

The KBC GO East prices, delivered in Paris on October 25th, recognize French companies for their successful development in Eastern Europe. The Rabot Dutilleul group was awarded the Management Price for its companies RD bud, Pol-K and RD-CR.

It is the first time the KBC GO EAST prices, conjointly organized by the KBC bank and the daily economic newspaper La Tribune, have recognized independent French companies for successful development in Eastern Europe.

Selected with 40 other companies, including leading international firms such as Decathlon, Leroy Merlin, Lesaffre, Essilor and Bonduelle, the Rabot Dutilleul group won the Management Price.

With only ten French expatriates out of 100 executives and supervisors in Poland and Czech Republic, the management policy of favouring local collaborators and integration through long-term training programs seduced the jury. Also awarded was the agro industrial group Soufflet, for whom RD bud built 45 metre-tall silos.

Let us remember that 2007 marks the tenth anniversary of RDbud’s arrival in Central Europe, and this prize recognizes all the Rabot Dutilleul companies’ teams located there.
