Rabot Dutilleul Group participated in a great number of events in favour of the employement of disabled people.
During this 15th edition of the week in favour of the employment of
disabled people, the Rabot Dutilleul Group, from November 14th until November 19th, participated in a great number of events aimed at encouraging the professional integration of disabled persons: the Employment and Handicap Forum on November 15th in Marcq-en-Baroeul ; involvement in a special company for disabled workers (ESAT) “Hors les murs & Handicaf鮓 in Lomme on November 16th; Forum for the Employment of Disabled People on November 17th in Wasquehal.
These meetings are organised to help disabled job applicants to meet recruiters. They have two aims: to start a recruiting process and to put an end to preconceived ideas about disabled people.
These actions reflect the Rabot Dutilleul Group’s determination to initiate a true “HR” policy of recruiting, professionally integrating and maintaining in employment disabled workers.

After only 17 months of building works, Rabot Dutilleul Partenariats delivered a new home for elderly dependent people (EHPAD) to the general hospital in Douai on 21st October 2011.
Developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) over 30 years, the 12,000 sq. m. net floor area complex was completed sooner than expected. From November onwards, residents occupying the 238 bedrooms will benefit from the facilities of the EHPAD, including the long-term care unit, four Alzheimer units and a day care centre.
Optimising time for completion
In order to deliver a high quality healthcare facility that meets the demands of the hospital sector, Rabot Dutilleul Partenariats was able to bring into play the skills and know-how of companies within the Rabot Dutilleul group. While Rabot Dutilleul Construction was in charge of building the EHPAD in a record time (thanks to its judicious choices in terms of methodology, management, supervision and resources), Sitex (the group subsidiary responsible for maintenance) will provide the maintenance and management of the building for 30 years, as well as the renewal of structures and facilities.
Signed in April 2009, the public-private partnership contract included the financing, designing, building and maintenance of the home for elderly dependent people. The overall investment in this project comes to €28.6m.
To this day, Rabot Dutilleul Partenariats has three public-private partnerships completed or in progress: the inter-hospital laundry in Gonesse (95), the Douai EHPAD (59) and the Le Chesnois vocational training school in Bains-les-Bains (88). Many other projects are currently under way.
To find out more about the range of achievements and skills of Rabot Dutilleul Partenariats, come along on the 12th and 13th October to the Rencontres Internationales des PPP (RI PPP), stand 28 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.

Nacarat and Vicity are embarking on a 42,800 sq. m. property development in southern Lille combining economic development and architectural ambition.
Vicity and the Greater Lille branch of Nacarat are working on a combined development as part of a vast urban renewal project instigated by the City of Lille.
The development, designed in conjunction with the architect Rudy Riciotti, combines shopping facilities (a hypermarket and small shops), a 3-star hotel, restaurants and offices along with 1,300 parking spaces for cars and bicycles.
Designed to create jobs and drive the commercial redynamisation of the whole neighbourhood, Lillénium is also an innovative and sustainable architectural project. The building, which includes a large atrium, will boast 77% natural light, providing visual comfort and helping to save energy. Other example of systems introduced to improve the energy efficiency of the building include a green roof, water recovery system and the use of LED technology for optimal lighting. The Lillénium development project will also include the signature of a “green site” charter by the construction firms involved and a BREEAM® certification process.

The Group’s general contractors are joining forces and making no secret of their ambitions.
Established in 1975 and 2001 respectively, the GERIM and MCG general contractors have just announced that they are going to merge. In so doing, these two specialists in “turnkey” projects will be sharing their skills and geographical reach in order to achieve joint objectives set in cooperation with their shareholders, namely the Financière Duval and Rabot Dutilleul groups. The company resulting from this merger, called “Gérim”, will be a 50/50 joint venture whose aim will be to accelerate development in its favoured markets, i.e. industrial facilities, logistics, retail facilities and business parks.
The headquarters of the newly-established Gérim company are located at the heart of a business park in the Lille metropolitan area. This new park was jointly developed by companies that are members of the Financière Duval and Rabot Dutilleul groups. Already present in Paris, Nantes, Lyon, Bordeaux and Prague, Gérim, the new general contractor, plans to extend its geographical reach by taking positions in new markets, such as Slovakia, where it has just been awarded a contract for its first development in this country.
Such new impetus should enable Gérim to generate sales worth around 100 million euros over the next three years.

The “Le Grand Large” housing scheme in Dunkirk, jointly developed by Nacarat, was honoured in 2010 with a special prize at the prestigious “Equerre d’Argent” architecture awards given annually by the Le Moniteur group for a French building.
Located between the sea and the town centre, the Grand Large neighbourhood is part of an urban regeneration project based on a sustainable development approacg. The first phase of this scheme, built by Nacarat in a joint development with others, involved 120 houses, divided into 70 flats (Gâbles), 23 intermediate housing units and 27 detached houses. The next phase of this vast project has now been set in motion by the granting of two building permits for the construction of 42 flats and 28 intermediate housing units.
Already the winner of an award in 2007 by the French Federation of Property Developers, Le Grand Large is a scheme that stands out as a benchmark in sustainable construction. The project is part of an urban development plan inspired by Agenda 21, and is based on an approach combining the fostering of social diversity and environmental protection. The special prize given as part of the “Equerre d\'Argent” 2010 awards by the Moniteur Group also honours the treatment of public spaces that promote "living together in harmony".

Rabot Dutilleul Construction is a partner with the eighth happening of the "Coulisses du Bâtiment"...
The Fédération Française du Bâtiment (FFB) [French Building Federation] has launched "Les Coulisses du Bâtiment", therefore allowing the general public – and more precisely the young people – to discover the crafts of this sector of activity, by visiting open sites and workshops throughout France.
As for the previous years, Rabot Dutilleul Construction has given a positive answer to the request of FFB. On October 7th and 8th, the Company meets with several hundreds of school boys and girls, on the sites of the Lycée Jules Ferry, in Dainville (62) and that of the future regional head Office of the Caisse d\'Epargne [Savings Bank], in Amiens (80). These two sites are very interesting due to their magnitude, their technicality and their level of development… may be shall they generate new vocations!
