A behind-the-scenes look at building sites!
Rabot Dutilleul Construction participated in the 14th edition of “Behind the scenes of Construction”, the open day event that allows people to visit building sites normally closed to the public.
From 13th to 15th October 2016, Rabot Dutilleul Construction opened two building sites to visitors. Four hundred and sixty schoolchildren visited the building site in Saint-Nicolas-lez-Arras (62), where 55 upmarket private flats are being built in three low-energy buildings (a project developed by Rabot Dutilleul Partnerships and Rabot Dutilleul Construction, which will be completed in 2017). In Boulogne-Billancourt (92), 200 young people explored the first phase of works for the Riv’Elégance building programme, which comprises 155 housing units developed by Nacarat.
Visitors from all over France, including many school groups, were welcomed to some 200 sites. The “Behind the Scenes of Construction” event organised every year by the French Building Federation gives people a unique opportunity to find out about the construction industry in a practical way by visiting “real” worksites and meeting male and female construction workers who are proud of their job. It is also a way for people to form their own opinions on the building sector, by learning about the industry’s most sought after trades, for men as well as for women.
